The Aluminium Incinerated scrap is the by-product derived from the reprocessing IBA Incinerator bottom ash). It can be classified as follows: Basel code B1010. EW Code: 17 04 02. With a low melting point at 660'C, on visual inspection, aluminium can be found as melted and re-solidified particles or rocks. This happens to aluminium foil that is converted into small droplets during the incineration process. Some larger and thicker aluminium packaging items can still be partially recognised as they retain their shape. The heterogeneous nature of the processed material is due to the diversified conditions present in the combustion chamber, (some relatively cooler regions in the furnace). The stock can contain all kind of aluminium packing. We can currently provide this material in three different fractions and with different aluminium content: 3-8 mm split in two different qualities: 65% ± 3% Al 85% ± 3% Al 8-16 mm: about 70% ± 3% Al 16-60 mm: about 80% ± 3% Al The material contains minor impurities typically stones, ash, glass. Such components are inherent and adhere to the scrap surface. The total impurities can be sorted, but not fully removed. The collected stock is stored in warehouse on cemented flooring. It can be loaded loose in 20' Feet heavy duty container.

Heavy Melting Steel (HMS): Heavy melting steel is a designation for recyclable steel. It is categorised into two major categories: HMS 1 and HMS 2. The difference between the two is HMS 1 does not contain galvanized and cast iron, whereas HMS 2 does. Because both grades guarantee a minimum piece thickness â?? at least 1/4inch (6.3mm) for HMS 1, and 1/8 in for HMS 2 â?? consignments have a high density. The typical constituents are plates, truck parts, structural items, large machinery parts, automatic parts, pipes, post consumer steel goods. Aluminum scrap refers to discarded aluminum materials that can be recycled to produce new aluminum products. It is a highly valued commodity due to its cost-effectiveness and environmental benefits, as recycling aluminum significantly reduces energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. 1. Product Overview Aluminum scrap is sourced from various end-of-life products, manufacturing processes, and consumer goods. It can be categorized into different grades based on purity and form, including: Type Description Post-Consumer Scrap : Scrap is obtained from used products like cans. Pre-Consumer Scrap Scrap generated during manufacturing processes. Dirty Alloys Scrap that contains impurities or mixed alloys. 2. Recycling Process The recycling of aluminum involves several steps: Collection: Gathering scrap from various sources. Sorting: Classifying scrap by type and quality. Melting: Heating aluminum scrap to its melting point. Casting: Forming new aluminum products from the molten metal. 3. Benefits of Recycling Aluminum Energy Savings: Recycling requires only about 5% of the energy needed to produce new aluminum from ore. Reduced Waste: Diverts scrap from landfills, promoting sustainability. Economic Value: Recycled aluminum can be sold at a higher value compared to other recycled materials.

HMS stands for heavy melting scrap, and 1 & 2 are the two grades within that definition. Heavy melting steel (HMS) or heavy melting scrap, is a designation for recyclable steel and wrought iron. It is broken up into two major categories: HMS 1 and HMS 2. The difference between the two is HMS 1 does not contain galvanized and blackened steel, whereas HMS 2 does. Both HMS 1 & 2 comprise obsolete scrap only. That is iron and steel recovered from items demolished or dismantled at the end of their life. Because both grades guarantee a minimum piece thickness – at least 1/4inch (6.3mm) for HMS 1, and 1/8in for HMS 2 – consignments have a high density. Both also have defined maximum dimensions (usually 60in x 24in), and should be prepared to facilitate handling and charging to a furnace. This density, sizing and preparation makes for efficient furnace operation by minimising the time to charge enough scrap for a full melt. In contrast, thin mixed scrap greatly increases charging time, cutting furnace productivity. HMS is usually traded as a blend of 1 & 2, either a premium blend (80:20) or lower grade mixes (70:30) and (60:40). Our Products Coal Trading Company HMS Trading Company
