But with the progressing time, bentonite is applicable to many of the industries type and therefore its production has now jumped to some million tons a year. One may either find a sodium or calcium compound in bentonite that can be widely used by industries. Bentonite can be called as a clay in general as it actually a dirt but with wider applications in industries and useful to common people.
