Kaolin also called as China Clay is nearly white in colour. It is distinguished from other industrial clays based on its fine particle size and pure colourings. Its ability to disperse in water makes it an ideal pigment. The primary constituent in kaolin is the mineral kaolinite, a hydrous aluminum silicate formed by the decomposition of minerals such as feldspar. Hydrous kaolin is characterized by its fine particle size, plate like or lamellar particle shape and chemical inertness. APPLICATIONS aints, Coating & Pigments Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics and Medical Applications Plastics Rubber Ceramics Fibreglass Ultramarine industries Since several years CEMENTATION has been mining, processing and supplying Kaolin products from its reserves in India. Our products offer unique and specific geological characteristics that can be tailor-made to meet the changing demands of the markets that we serve. Our production or supply capacity is more than 150,000 TPA. Our laboratories are well equipped to meet the needs of the diverse markets we serve.
Ball clay is a silicate clay rock of which kaolinite is the main constituent: Al2Si2O5(OH)4. Ball clays are kaolinitic clays in the family of silicate minerals. It commonly consists of kaolinite, mica, quartz silica, as well as few organic matters. Ball clay is formed from the weathering and transportation by water of parent rocks. Seams in the same deposit may vary in composition, depending on the quantity of the principal and accessory minerals. Ball clays are fine-grained, highly plastic clays, which are principally used in the manufacture of ceramic whiteware and sanitaryware where they are appreciated for their plasticity, unfired strength and their light colour on firing. Selected clays can even give pure white end products. Among others, ball clays are also used in refractories, in polymers, in adhesives and sealants and in horticulture as soil amendments. Ball clay is particularly valued as a base material in the manufacture of ceramics. Combined with kaolin, ball clays provide the cohesion and workability necessary for the creation of ceramic parts such as sanitaryware. While using it with kaolin, feldspar and quartz in tableware, ball clay confers high plasticity and a good white-fired colour to the end product. In wall and floor tiles, ball clays are prized for their plasticity and bonding properties. In glazes and engobes, they ensure a perfect finish. Electrical porcelain insulators Ball contain plastic clays to provide insulation from high voltage currents. BALL CLAY produced by Peekay Minerals are having the following charactsitics High plasticity High unfired mechanical strength Highly controlled rheological properties Controlled organic content Controlled residue Excellent workability End Users usually ask the following test results L Value firing test of whiteness Dry MOR Fired MOR at 1180 deg cent Water of Plasticity Shrinkage Sieve Analysis

Kaolin is a kind of nonmetallic minerals, is a kind of give priority to with the family of kaolinite clay mineral clay and clay rock. For white and delicate, also called dolomite.Named after the deep jingdezhen kaolin village in jiangxi province. Its quality pure kaolinite was white and delicate, soft soil, it has good plasticity and the physical and chemical properties such as fire resistance. Its mineral composition mainly consists of kaolinite, halloysite, hydromica, illite and montmorillonite, quartz and feldspar mineral composition.Kaolin application is very extensive, mainly used for paper making, ceramics and refractory materials, secondly used in paints, rubber filler, enamel glaze and white cement raw material, a few used in plastics, paint, paint, grinding wheel, pencil, daily cosmetics, soap, pesticide, medicine, textile, oil, chemical industry, building materials, national defense and other industries. Kaolin is mainly used for paper making, ceramics and refractory, kaolin second used in paints, rubber filler, enamel glaze and white cement raw material, kaolin small amount used in plastics, paint, paint, grinding wheel, pencil, daily cosmetics, soap, pesticide, medicine, textile, oil, chemical industry, building materials, national defense and other industries.
Kaolin is a non-metallic mineral, which is a kind of clay and clay rock dominated by kaolinite clay minerals. Because it is white and delicate, it is also called dolomite. Its pure kaolin is white, fine and soft, with good physical and chemical properties such as plasticity and fire resistance. Its mineral composition is mainly composed of kaolinite, halloysite, hydromica, illite, montmorillonite and quartz, feldspar and other minerals.
China Clay also known as Kaolin or Hydrated Aluminum Silicate with a melting point of 740-1785C and its density is 2.65 g/cm3. China Clay with a chemical formula Al2O3, is a soft and earthy mineral. It appears to be Yellowish or Grayish or White colored powder which is odorless. It is available in abundant amount on the earthâ??s crust. China Clay is a part of Kaolinite group of Clays, which are found in the rocks those are rich in Kaolinite mineral and so China Clay is just a Hydrated Aluminum Silicate derived from the mineral Kaolinite. Kaolin is generally insoluble in water or has low solubility, therefore develops earthly odor if hydrated. With a low cation exchange and shrink swell capacity it is used in both of its form which are lumps and powder. China Clay finds its application in Ceramic and Sanitary Ware Industry, Paper and Textile Industry, Paint and Rubber Industry and even in Production of Crockery. It is also used in Refractory Production, and even act as Filler in Cement and Wood Primer, Texture Paint, Spray Plaster and Many more. China Clay even has the capability to accelerate blood clotting. Jyoti Chemical offered China Clay is produced with ultra-modern technology with fine particle size, Pure White or Off-White in color and therefore it gets its commercial value. In all aspects we look after the physical characteristics of China Clay from its brightness, to glossiness and viscosity. Jyoti Chemical provided China Clay is strictly as per your requirement and specification with customized packing options.
