Colors of henna leaves depend on quality of henna leaves and also metal, oil, other ingredients. By adding mordant like chrome, ferrous, and alum shade are different. Henna powder give a dark colour with ferrous. The dry powder is mixed with one of a number of liquid, including water, lemon juice, strong tea, and other ingredients, depending on your end use.
