Potassium carbonate is widely used in the manufacturing of glass, specialty glass, agrochemicals, gas purification, detergents etc.
In food industry, potassium carbonate is commonly used in cocoa alkalization, baking, noodles making (to add chewy texture to the noodles), raisins drying etc.
It also helps control the acidity and pH value in wine, drinks, milk powder etc.
