Sintered AINiCo offer slightly lower magnetic properties but better mechanical characteristics. it can be efficiently magnetized in any direction, and for anisotropic AINiComagnet, it generally has greater magnetic capacitive in a preferred orientation than isotropic types. AINiCo is hard and brittle, Machining or drilling cannot therefore be accomplished by ordinary methods. Samarium Cobalt (SmCo) magnets are made by a sintering process and exist in two forms. The first is Sm1Co5(SmCo 1:5),which has a maximum energy product of between 14 and 24MGOe.
