2. Application: Titanium Dioxide is the most important white pigment used in rubber, paint, coating, dyestuff industry. It is widely used because it efficiently scatters visible light, thereby imparting whiteness, brightness and opacity when incorporated in related products. The active ingredient is of a rutile grades titanium dioxide. It is thermally more stable and resistant to chemical attack, and opacities better than anatase grade Titanium.
