Silicon carbide tiles with less defects, high dense, hardness and good fracture toughness are produced by reaction bonded processes. SiC ceramic tiles combined with ultra high molecular weight Polyethylene into panels which are more and more used in human body and vehicle protection. Shooting tests showed our plates meet NIJ level III/IV stipulated by U.S. Standard NIJ0101.06.
