The light source of this lamp is Plasma which is derived by External electrode of electric field inside the lamp. Because of this technology, this lamp does not generate heat itself and enhances the lifetime and the illumination stability incredibly and improves brightness efficiency. This lamp is absolutely next generation of fluorescent lamp for lighting. 2. Features of EEFL Lamp Long life time - Unbelievably long life time because of its electrode structure. Wide range of application íí-Can be applied to wide range of application such as very narrow space and subway station etc where the moving line is very Important as O.D of the lamp is very slim (+ 4.0mm). - When take this lamp as lighting source for the wide color frame, the thickness of the frame can be made within 50mm and after assembling, the weight of the frame assy' is very light so that this can be used in a various application and it's quite easy to mount the frame Assy' anywhere. High efficiency and economic - No maintenance (changing the lamp) is needed as its life time is at least about 3 times more than general fluorescent lamp. - Much lower power consumption (about 60% of others) No heat Generation - This lamp does not give any damage to applied photo, film and any of product near by as the lamp does not generate heat itself.
