Earthing wire also called earth wire or ground wire is installed on an electric circuit and is connected with the earth to protect people from electric shock, by creating a route for the current to pass to the earth and bypass an electric short or other problem. The electrical systems can be protected when earth wire along with fuse breaker is installed. The circuits with no earth wire are more likely to be affected by electrical fires. This wire has no relation to the operation of the circuit, but in its absence, the person handling the wires can suffer an electrical shock. When connected to the electric panel, this wire creates a path that routes the electric current back to its source in the event of a fault. This is because electricity tries to complete the circuit and therefore must be provided a path to send it from where it came from.
