It is a cost-effective alternative to silica sand, mineral slags and steel grits and shot as the perfect symbiosis of grain size, density and hardness/durability creates the optimum abrasive efficiency, lowest abrasive consumption (kg/m2) at the highest production rates (m2/hr).
Compared with rock garnet, river garnet sand can keep the cutting surface smooth and flat. Because river sand is formed after a long time of impact, so its grain edge surface is more rounded, less damage to the material. Products cut from river garnet are more popular with consumers.
