Plump, moist and luscious, it has a distinctive caramel taste with hints of vanilla flavour. - Their exterior has a wrinkled appearance. This variety of date is known as a soft date. Other varieties have a drier texture. Medjool dates have a sweet, caramel-like flavor with a hint of cinnamon and honey mingled in.
