IR64 is Long Grain Non Basmati Rice variety mainly grown in Southern States of India like
Kerala Andhra Pradesh and Tamil nadu. This is hygienically processed and sortex clean rice. It
has good amount of aroma and rich taste. IR64 rice is offered with different broken percentages
like 5% broken, 25% broken as well as 100% broken. Due to economical price many times it is
used as substitute to Long Grain Rice in delicacies like Biryani and fried rice. It has less starch
and easy for digestion. Averagegrain length is 5.91-6.20mm. Availablein Raw/white rice as well
as Parboiled form.
