North east is home to two major varieties of Pineapple: Kew and Queen. These pineapple are renowned the world over for their high brix content, and are considered the sweetest cultivar available out there. Ranging from sized 700 gm to 2500 gm per piece, depending on the variety, these pineapples have been exported to various countries since the 1980s.
