AZS brick 36# has more free baddeleyite crystals in chain structure and less vitreous phase, which further improves the corrosion resistibility and reduces the potential defects in glass, so it is recommended to be used in sections where glass flow is faster and temperature is higher, such as melter sidewall, paving, doghouse, etc. AZS brick 41# has the most free baddeleyite crystals among the fused cast AZS families, which are evenly distgributed within the block.
