D6 is also be known as Residual Fuel Oil and is of high-viscosity. This particular fuel oil requires preheating to 220 - 260 Degrees Fahrenheit. D6 is mostly used for generators. D6 is a type of residual fuel, mainly used in power plants and larger ships. The fuel requires to be preheated before it can be used. It is not possible to use it in smaller engines or vessels/vehicles where it is not possible to pre-heat it. D6 is its name in the USA. In other parts of the world it has other names. Residual means the material remaining after the more valuable cuts of crude oil have boiled off. The residue may contain various undesirable impurities including 2 percent water and one-half percent mineral soil. D6 fuel is also known as residual fuel oil (RFO), by the Navy specification of Bunker C, or by the Pacific Specification of PS-400 Recent changes in fuel quality regulation now require further refining of the D6 in order to remove the sulfur, which leads to a higher cost. Despite this recent change, D6 is still less useful because of its viscosity as well as that it needs to be pre-heated before it can be used and contains high amounts of pollutants, such as sulfur. Since it requires pre-heating, it cannot be used in small ships or boats or cars. However large ships and power plants can use the residual fuel oil. The price of D6 diesel traditionally rises during colder months as demand for heating oil rises, which is refined in much the same way.In many parts of the United States and throughout the United Kingdom and Australia, d6 diesel may be priced higher than petrol. D6 Diesel Standards and ClassificationCCAI and CII are two indexes which describe the ignition quality of residual fuel oil, and CCAI is especially often calculated for marine fuels.

Structure 1) Outer Rubber Layer The outer rubber layer that covers the outside of ship airbag to protect under layers from abrasion and other external forces. This compound has sufficient tensile and tearing strength to withstand any condition and hard usage. 2) Inner Rubber Layer The inner rubber layer seals pressurized air inside ship airbags. 3) Synthetic-Tire-Cord Layer as Reinforcement The reinforcement cord layers, which are made of synthetic-tire-cord commonly used in tires, are arranged at ideal angles to hold the internal pressure and distribute stress evenly. So they can provide strong efficient reinforcement. Material Ship rubber airbags for docking and undocking are constructed of synthetic-tire-cord layers; inner and outer rubber layers are sometimes added. All materials used are vulcanized. Air tightness test: Without carrying any load, fill the air bag till the internal pressure of the air bag reaches rated working pressure. After 1 hour. The pressure loss should be less than 5 % of initial pressure. Bursting test: Fill the air bag with water until the air bag bursts. The water pressure at the time of bursting shall be no less than three times of rated working pressure.
Ip with rubber airbags is a big innovation started in 1980s. Our boss mr.Pan is one of the first group of experts who were interested in the research and application of airbagsused for ship launching and landing. This new technique was gradually proven to be economical and practical. Now the technique is mature and become popular among big shipyards both in china and abroad. Folded and bundled Also can be customised
Product Description: Ship launching or upgrading depending on Air Bag is an innovative technology having utmost bright prospect in shipbuilding. Now the Flexible Launching Technology is full of mobility, with advantages such as saving effort, saving time, saving work load, saving investment, flexible, safe, reliable, and outstanding benefit, etc. The technology of apply air gasbag to the launching and landing of ships overcomes the restrictions of traditional slide board technology which is commonly used in building small or medium size ships. After years of practice and accumulation of experience, we have developed this technology from facilitating the launching of only 1, 000 DWT ships to current 55, 000 DWT ships. And now this technology has become into a flexible, promising, secure and mature technology. Besides that, these airbags are widely used in upgrading of ships and boats of all sizes. Construction Features: Launching / Landing Airbags, basic body consists of which consist of our rubber layers, synthetic-cord-reinforced rubber layers, are kind of a cylindrical airbags with hemispherical heads at the both ends. All of these are vulcanized together, and then compress air inside to enable in to roll. 1. Outer Rubber The outer rubber layer that covers the outside of launching airbags protects the cord layers from abrasion and other external forces. This compound has sufficient tensile and tear strength to withstand any weather condition and hard usage. Standard color is black. 2. Synthetic-tyre-cord layer for reinforcement The reinforcement cord layers, which are made of Synthetic-tire-cord commonly used in tires, are arranged at ideal angles to hold the internal pressure and to distribute the stress evenly providing strong efficient reinforcement. 3. End Fittings End fittings include air tightness swivel and airbags safety air inlet. Main Application Field of Air-bags: Shipbuilding Industry: Upgrading and launching of ships; Shipwreck salvaging; Ships collision avoidance Hoisting and Moving Industry: Lifting and transporting of heavy weight objects.
