As pure formaldehyde is in gas state under high temperature since it boils at -19`c, this substance bears no commercial value as it is. Due to such characteristics, formaldehyde is sold and transported in solution state or in polymer state. The most widely-traded formaldehyde solution between 37 to 50wt% in the world is 37wt% solution.
