CRONAGE offers a wide range of Industrial Cable Glands for outdoor and indoor use. The Cable Glands meet the performance requirements of BS 6121: Part I / BS EN 50262 and are manufactured in Brass to BS 2874 standard. Cable Glands are made in standard Brass (BS 2874) or in alternative materials like Aluminium (BS 1474) and Stainless Steel (A2/A4). Finishes : Cable Glands are generally supplied in natural Brass finish. Other finishes like Electro-Tin, Nickel and Cadmium can be provided. Entry Threads: Cable Glands are normally supplied with ISO Metric threads to BS 3643 part 2 ISO 68 / 965 series. A constant pitch of 1.5 mm is used up to and including 75 mm thread size. Alternative entry threads like PG / NPT / ET etc. are also available. Earthing / Grounding : Electrical continuity is normally achieved through the screwed entry into metal boxes. Where earth short circuit protective equipment demands positive earth connection, a range of integral earth glands can be provided.
