Thanks for your question. Thee are two aspects to your question and I'll try to answer them accordingly.

SGS Certification is obtained by the company or manufacturing unit that provides a whole range of certification including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and so on.. It takes approximately 3 to 6 months to obtain the certificate.

SGS inspection services are availed by buyers and importers who wish to get their shipment inspected before obtaining it from the port of shipment.

SGS is provided by supplier and completed by the inspection when all cargoes are loaded on board ship.

SGS CERTIFICATION is a Product Quality / Quantity validation certification which can be obtained by either by the Buyer or Seller as per their agreement. Similar to this SGS Certification, there are lots of Internationally Validated NABL or
ILAC - International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation
Accredited Certication Agencies like TUV, Intertek Labs, EUROFIN LABS, Etc. Any NABL or ILAC Accredited certification agencies can offer this Certifications with reference to mutual agreement of Buyer or Seller.
